Colonel J B Randeniya assumed office as the new Brigadier Administration and Quartering of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) in an auspicious time on 31 July 2019.
He succeeds Colonel S P A I M B Samarakoon Lsc Hdmc who has been appointed as the new Centre Commandant at Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Regiment.
Colonel J B Randeniya is from Sri Lanka Engineers and has held numerous important appointments during his military career in Command, Instructor and Staff appointments at various levels.
Before appointing as the Brigadier Administration and Quartering of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Colonel J B Randeniya has served as the logistic coordinating officer DHQC project.
