A new office complex for Colonel Coordinating Office, Civil Affairs Office, Media Section and Psychological Section was opened on 17 June 2019 with the participation of Brigadier General Staff of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) Brigadier Harendra Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndc.
This was one of the major requirements to Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) since these Branches were operated with minimum infrastructure facilities. After observing the great difficulty underwent by clerical staff of those branches, the Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu promptly instructed to 22 Engineers Services Squadron under Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) to commence the construction for a new office complex to shift those branches.
As a result of that new office building was constructed with the direction of Officer Commanding Engineers Services Squadron in Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) Major W C Deshapriya and under the supervision of Brigadier Administration and Quartering Colonel Indu Samarakkoon Lsc Hdmc.
Brigadier General Staff of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) Brigadier Harendra Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndc, Brigadier Admin and Quartering Colonel Indu Smarakoon Lsc Hdmc along with all Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) attended the opening of newly constructed building.
