The Director of Sri Lanka Army Health Services Major General K P Sumanapala visited Field Military hospital at the Headquarters of Security Force (Wanni) on 23 March 2019 in order to inspect the function of newly renovated hospital and as well to address the hospital staff prior to his retirement scheduled on 08 April 2019.
Major General K P Sumanapala made a close look on the proper function of hospital while on the visit and he appraised the dedicated hospital staff under the headship of Officer Commanding of Field Military Hospital SFHQ (W) Dr. Captain Akalanka Rathnasekara on account of the systematic operation of all administration task of the hospital while ensuring the prime duty in caring and treating soldiers.
At the moment of the visit, the Director of Sri Lanka Army Health Services paid his sincere gratitude on all Officers and Other Ranks contributed immensely to serve Sri Lanka Army as members of the family of Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps.
In addition, the Director of Sri Lanka Army Health Services Major General K P Sumanapala specially thanked the Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu on account of initiating to renovate the Field Military Hospital in Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) with all facilities.
