In view of making aware of pregnant mothers, a workshop on mental health and early childhood development was organised on 20 March 2019 at Puleliya Kiralagala Temple.
Mr Dhrshana Neranjan Madawala and Mrs Nethmali Munasinghe from Colombo International Institute of Higher Education conducted this workshop and it was organised by troops of 2 Battalion Mechanised Infantry Regiment and 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry.
Over 51 pregnant mothers participated in the workshop and troops of 213 Brigade provided them tea and lunch.
The event was organised under the supervision of Commander 213 Brigade Colonel K A W S Rathnayake.
