The newly appointed Commander of the 623 Brigade Colonel PGPS Rathnayaka RWP RSP assumed duties in an auspicious time on 12 February 2019 at the Headquarters of 623 Brigade Colonel PGPS Rathnayaka RWP RSP is the seventh Commander of the Brigade after it has been formed as 623 Brigade.
The new Commander of 623 Brigade was accorded with a guard turnout at the entrance of the Brigade Headquarters. All Officers and Other Ranks of the Brigade Headquarters were present at the occasion.
