Headquarters, Security Force (Wanni)marked the 69th Army Anniversary on 10 October 2018 with the presence of the Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu.
Commencing the formalities, Wanni Security Force Commander hoistedthe Army Flag while Brigadier General Staff Brigadier Kumar Jayapathirana RSP hoisted the Flag of Security Force (Wanni). The event continued with the singing of the Army Song and observing a two-minute silence to commemorate the fallen War Heroes. Brigadier Administration and Quartering Brigadier Ranjan Premalal USP proceeded with reading out the message of Commander of the Army.
In the evening all Officers and Other Ranks of the Headquarters gathered for a Bodhi Puja and Dhamma Sermon conducted by the Viharadhikari of Sri DhaladhaViharaya, Madukanda,Ven. Shashrapathi Kirigalwawe Wimalasara thero.
