As a continuation of organizing community based and charitable programmes to mark the 69th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army, troops of 611 Brigade organised a blood donation campaign at Headquarters premises of 611 Division on 05 October 2018 under guidance of the Commander 611 Brigade Colonel L D S S Liyanage RSP USP psc Hdmc and the supervision of General Officer Commanding of 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP.
A medical team of Blood Bank in General Hospital Vavuniya, under Dr Dhanushka contributed their immense support to conduct this blood donation camp and over 75 military personals from Headquarters of 611 Brigade and under command formations donated blood.
