In view of enhancing the education of students in remote schools of wanni region, troops of 213 Brigade organised donation programmes in Puleliya Maha Vidyalaya and Alawaka Maha Vidyalaya under Puleliya Grama Niladhari Division on 01 August 2018.
According to a request made by the Commander 213 Brigade Colonel K A W S Rathnayake, members of the Colombo Lion’s Club financially assisted to donate a Photocopier Machine, two Laptops and a set of valuable books for libraries of Puleliya Maha Vidyalaya and Alawaka Maha Vidyalaya.
The Commander 213 Brigade Colonel K A W S Rathnayake and the president of Colombo Lion’s Club graced this donation programme as chief guests.
Senior Officers, Officers of 213 Brigade and under command formations together with large number of students of Puleliya Maha Vidyalaya and Alawaka Maha Vidyalaya participated in the occasion.
