Troops of 62 Division organised a donation programme on 10 June 2018 to provide essential school items for students at Gnanawasa Dhamma School in Thonigala Temple.
The veteran motorist in Sri Lanka, Mr. Upulwan Serasinghe financially sponsored for the entire donation which was coordinated by Brigadier K P D Perera RWP RSP USP under the careful supervision of the General Officer Commanding of 62 Division Brigadier L A N S Wanigasingha RWP RSP USP.
The chief incumbent of Thonigala Temple, the General Officer Commanding of 62 Division, Mr. Upulwan Serasinghe, teachers of Dhamma School, Senior Officers, large number of students and parents took part in this charitable event.
