An awareness programmeon “Drug Addiction & Its Prevention” was successfully conducted at the HQ 21 Division on 18 May 2018.
This awareness programme was organized by troops of 21 Division under the directions and guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 21 Division Maj Gen W R P De Silwa USP ndu IG.
A lecture team representing National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB), Mr. IM Chamara Pradeep Karunarathne and Miss Iresha Indiwari conducted this valuable programme with the aim of preventing drug menace among Army officers and soldiers.
Large number of troops representing Headquarters 21 Division, Forward Maintenance Area (North Central), 3 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, 2 Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps, Army Base Hospital (Anuradhapura), 3 Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, Transit Camp (Sunahatha), 3 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, 2 Engineers Services Regiment participated in the lecture.
