54 DIVISION OPENS ITS WELFARE SHOP “THALLADI GIMANHALA”

As an initiative of the General Officer Commanding of 54 Division Major General G J A W Galagamage, the newly constructed welfare shop of 54 Division “Thalladi Gimanhala” was declared open on 25 April 2018 to facilitate number of soldiers and outside customers in Mannar area.

Gracing the opening of welfare shop, the Division Commander expressed his gratitude towards all officers and other ranks who made their immense contribution to construct this welfare shop. Further, he paid his special gratefulness for all rankers of under command battalions and Engineers Services Regiment on account of the tireless effort that they contributed for constructions until it comes to the end.

Brigade Commanders together with Commanding Officers of under command formations to 54 Division, Staff officers of the Division Headquarters and large number of Other Ranks participated in this occasion.
