SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI) STEPS FORWARD TO ANOTHER WELFARE EVENT
\r\nTroops of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) were benefited another welfare event which was organized to visit Anuradhapura sacred city and significant places in Mannar during 11, 12 and 13 December 2017.\r\n\r\nThe event was a concept of the Commander Security Force (Wanni), Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP USP ndu, not only to build up the rapport among troops in the headquarters but also to keep them relax and free with their beloved families, relations and friends after a busy schedule of their duty routine. It will also be an assistance to enhance the quality of work life in the office after getting their mind fresh with their beloved ones.\r\n\r\n28 families by representing all Other Ranks staff from the headquarters, 7 families of Civil Workers took part in three days visit to Anuradhapura sacred city and key places in Mannar. During the visit they treated with well facilitated accommodations, foods, medical treatments, etc. The group of families firstly visited around the Anuradhapura sacred city and Mihintale respectively during 11 and 12 December 2017. The following day they visited ThiriketheeshwaramKovil, Mannar beach, Church of Lady Madu in Mannar. Thereafter, they were accompanied to Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) for the closing session of the three day visit. The closing session was organised with a colourful musical extravaganza and a prize giving which were headed by the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) together with all principal staff officers of the headquarters in the evening on 13 December 2017. Members of all families made this occasion to convey their sincere gratitude and the best regard towards especially the Commander and all members of the organising committee in order to the contribution made for providing all facilities and the great care during the visit.\r\n\r\nThe entire event was culminated with great success on account of the tireless effort and immense contribution made by all Officers and Other Ranks in the Headquarters of Security Forces (Wanni).\r\n\r\n
