NAVY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT UNIT VESTS REVERSE OSMOSIS PLANT IN SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)
The opening of newly built Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant in Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) was taken place at the camp premises on 11 September 2017.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe Commander of Army Lieutenant General N U M M W Senanayake RWP RSP USP psc took immediate steps to grant provisions for the newly built RO plant on account of the request made by the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General M K D Perera RWP RSP USP ndu.\r\n\r\n\r\nThis will fulfill a long-felt need in the headquarters where a high prevalence of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) has recorded among the troops due to the consumption of regional water system regularly.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe RO plant, with a capacity to provide 10,000 liters per day, was designed by the Navy Research and Development Unit under its social responsibility
