21 DIVISION MARKED THE SINHALA AND HINDU NEW YEAR WITH A TRADITIONAL NEW YEAR FESTIVE SESSION.
The Sinhala and Hindu New Year festive session was organized by both officers and soldiers serving under the 21 Division on 11 April 2017.\r\n\r\nThe event was organized on the view and directions of the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Mejor General Ruwan Kulathunga.\r\n\r\nThe number of traditional games such as Bicycle race, Cross Country, Grease Pole climbing, Pillow-Fights, Tug-of-War, Fancy Dress Parade, Tracing Hidden Guest, selection of the princes and prince of the New Year dominated the day`s proceedings to the much enjoyment of all spectators.\r\n\r\nThe General Officer Commanding 21 Division Major Genaral Ruwan De Silva graced this occasion as the chief guest.\r\n\r\nAt the end of the festive session, the chief guest and several Senior Officers gathered to give away the priceless gifts to the winners in different competitions.\r\n\r\nSenior Officers, Officers and number of Other Ranks serving under the 21 Division participated in this occasion.\r\n\r\n
