THE THREE MONTHS AGRICULTURE PROGRAM WAS TERMINATED SUCCESSFULLY.
The Agriculture Program,commenced on 08 January 2017 and successfully terminated on 05 April 2017 at Manic Farm.This program was initiated according to His Excellency the President’s concept of eradicating the poverty from the year 2017 and launched under the guidance and supervision of the Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General J R kulatunga RSP ndc psc.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe students were made aware of theoretical and practical knowledge on Crop Cultivation, Livestock Management, Agro Equipment Handling and Water Supplying methods. The course was followed by selected 23 civil students from Manic Farm area and first in order of merit was awarded by R P G Buddhikawhilst M K Dilshan and S P Rupasena awarded second and third places accordingly. \r\n\r\n\r\nCaptain S I K Vithana and Captain K M N C Jayarathna, Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps gave the instructional support with the supervision of Sri Lanka Army, Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock.The certificate awarding ceremony was headed by the Brigade Commander 213 Brigade S M S P B Samarakoon RWP RSP. Religious Leaders, Senior Officers, Officers, Distinguished Civil Authorities and number of villagers were present at the occasion.\r\n
