AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON KIDNEY DISEASE CONDUCTED BY PADAVIYA BASE HOSPITAL
A medical clinic initiated by the General Officer Commanding 62 Division Major General B H MA Wijesinghe USP ndu psc, with the medical assistance of Padaviya Base Hospital for the soldiers serving under 62 Division area on Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) was held at the Divisional Headquarter Gymnasium at Galkulama on Friday, 10 March 2017. \r\n\r\nThis valuable lecture was conducted by Dr AGMM Darmadasa (Medical officer for health Padaviya and additional medical officer of health for Chronic Kidney Disease) and followed by a medical clinic to identify kidney patients among soldiers. 07 Doctors participated in this medical consultation and health promotion campaign along with 08 medical assistants. 250 participants including Officers and other Ranks were benefitted by this event. \r\n
