AN IMMENSE DONATION WAS ORGANIZED BY SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)
An immense donation program of newly constructed four houses for underprivileged families was organized with the patronage of the chief incumbent - Nugegoda Siri Dhammarama Temple, Ven. Bogambara Rathanajothi thero with the guidance and supervision by the Commander of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), Major General J R Kulatunga RSP ndc psc.\r\n\r\nThese four houses were constructed with the financial assistance of Specialist Surgeon Dr. Arunajith Pieris, Dr. Preethikala Pieris, Ms. Gothami Sagarika Pieris, Mrs. Padmini Pieris, Ms. Deepika Pieris and Dr. Inoka Pieris, the well-wishers of the donors committee in Nugegoda Siri Dhammarama Temple.\r\n\r\nThe invaluable support and service for the constructions were contributed by 26 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 11 Gamunu Watch, 14 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 17 Sri Lanka National Guard with the clear directions of 623 Brigade and the zealous supervision of 62 Division.\r\n\r\nThe donation ceremony of newly constructed houses was coordinated by the Civil Coordinating Affairs Branch of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) The General Officer Commanding – 62 Division, Major General B H M A Wijesingha USP ndu psc graced the occasion as the chief guest on 11 February 2017.\r\n\r\nSenior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of 62 Division and their under command establishments, as well as number of villagers in Veherathanna and nearby areas were present at the occasion.\r\n\r\nSubsequently, Mr D M Gnanathilaka who was selected as the best farmer of year 2014 from resettled villages and four families in Bogaswewa – 02 were Offered with a tube well to facilitate them for cultivation. The construction of the tube well worth of Rs. 95000.00 was financially assisted by the Social Services Foundation, Kirulapone. \r\n\r\nThe donation ceremony of The tube well was organized under the instructions of Genaeral Officer Commandig, 56 Divsion and with the participation of Commandr, 563 Brigade Colonel Upali Gunasekara, Ven. Bogamara Rathanajothi thero and the coordinator of Social Services Foundation - Kirulapone, Mr. Ajith Mahendra also participated the occasion on 11.02.2017 \r\n\r\n
