Newly constructed Pre School was handed over to villagers of Welioya, Sampathnuwara, “Ranaviru Piyasa” at 0930 hrs on 10 January 2017. This welfare project for the inhabitants executed according to the directions of the Major General J R Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Force (Wanni) and with the supervision and guidance of General Officer Commanding 62 Division Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc. 14 (v) SLLI Battalion sendered material and labour support for construciton.\r\n\r\n\r\n53 Ranaviru families are benefited by this project. This glamorous event started with registering seven children belong to Ranaviru Families. This Pre School facilitates substantial service to even neighbouring villages with underprivileged people due to lack of infrastructure facilities. Commanding Officer 14 (v) SLLI, Major C Jayaweera SLLI, Civil Affair Officer, 621 Brigade participated in this historical event.
