A DONATION CAMPAIGN WAS ORGANIZED BY SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)
\r\nTen families of resettled villages were offered 17 cows under the guidance and supervision of The Commander, Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General J R Kulathunga RSP ndc psc for the purpose of enhancing the living condition of the impoverished families of Weherathanna, Salalihinigama, Bogaswewa, Namalgama villagers.\r\n\r\nAll these animals were given the mercy from a slaughterhouse recently and offered to the chief incumbent of Nugegoda Siri DhammaramaViharaya, Ven. Bogambara Rathanajothi thero and each donated villager was instructed to look after and feed them well.Civil Coordinating Section of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) organized the event at Army Common Facility Center, Nandimithragama on 04 January 2017.\r\n\r\nThe General Officer Commanding of 56 Division, Brigadier T J Nanayakkara RWP USP ndu, Brigade Commander 563 Brigade, Colonel D P U Gunasekara USP IG, Chief Coordinator Civil Affairs Lt Colonel S A L I Perera - SLLI participated in the event.\r\n
