ANOTHER MAMMOTH DONATION FOR CIVILIANS IN WANNI REGION
\r\nThousands of people living in the rural areas under Security Force (Wanni) are fortunate enough to be consoled with the donation receive often by the Army Troops serving under a great leader whose concept is ‘Leader is the Giver’, the Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc. \r\n \r\nSeven hundreds civilians were selected to receive dry ration packs at a donation programme organized at Anuradhapura Sulugulu Vihara premises on 22nd August 2016 and one thousand villagers of Veherathenna received dry ration packs at Veherathenna on 23rd August 2016 with the kind donation of the Chief Incumbent of Kelaniya Manelwaththa Rajamaha Viharaya and the Maha Nayaka Thero of Taiwan Ven. Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thero. School items were also donated for the school children at Veherathenna. All these were worth for more than two million rupees.\r\n\r\nThe events were organized by the troops of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) with the supervision and coordination of the Commander Security Force (Wanni), with the attendance of thirty five members of ‘Thailand Theravada Buddhist Association’ A large number of gathering for the event were comprised of Buddhist Monks, villagers, civilians and Army personnel.\r\n
