SECURITY FORCE (WANNI) INTER DIVISION DRILL COMPETITION HELD IN ASTONISHING LEVEL
Inter Division Drill Competition was conducted for the second time in Security Force (Wanni) as per the guidance given by Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc to inculcate interest on personal drill, to infuse self discipline and to develop personality and bearing within Officers and soldiers. Under the supervision and direction of Brigadier AA Koddippily RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding of 62 Division, Inter Division Drill Competition -2016 was organized by the troops of 62 Division with the coordination and fullest support of the 4th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps RANASEWAPURA. The final event got underway on 28th June 2016 at the parade ground in 4 SLSC Headquarters with the participation of 8 platoons represent FMA (N/C), 21, 54, 56, 61, 62 Divisions and 4 (V) SLAWC. This event was judge by the 5 judge panels consist of qualified Officers and Drill Instructors from other establishments. rnThe competition was witnessed by Commander Security Force (Wanni), General Officer Commandings, Commander FMA (N/C), Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers ,Officers and Other ranks from under command Divisions.rnrnThe Drill platoon of 17 Sri Lanka National Guard from 62 Division carried the trophy as the champions in the competition after close encounter. The 5 Sri Lanka National Guard from 21 Division emerged as runners-up and O/68916 Lieutenant RMTSB Rajakaruna - 25 SLSR was the best platoon Commander. Winners were awarded trophies by the chief guest.rn
