Kidney diseases are among the main health problems of the people in Northern Central Province. Realizing the affect of this non-transitive disease, His Excellency the President Hon. Mithripala Sirisena inaugurated a project to establish RO plants (Reverse osmosis plant) in mostly affected areas. As another step of this project, three RO Plants had been constructed and opened for the public on 12th June 2016 at Ethawetunuwewa, Veherathenna and Bogaswewa areas. \r\n\r\nThese constructions were successfully completed with the kind patronage of EAP Groups and labour support by the Sri Lanka Army Wanni Troops. These RO Plants each worth of twenty five million Rupees will be a good solution for prevention of kidney disease. The RO Plants at Ethawetunawewa and Veherathenna were declared opened by the Minister of Media, Mr. Gayantha Karunathilaka and the President Hon.
