VESAK LANTERN, CRAFTED BY 09 CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES CARRIED AWAY FIRST PRIZE IN THE VESAK LANTERN COMPETITION
The Vesak lantern, crafted by 09 Corps of Engineer Services (CES) for display at the Anuradhapura Vesak Zone was adjudged the best one out of the 76 wesak lantern and carried away one million rupees as the first prize in the Vesak lantern competition. \r\n\r\nThe Vesak lantern made of using natural raw materials, like paddy, ragi creepers attracted the attention of all the visitors to the zone and won the first place.
