ONE MORE SEGMENT OF RANAVIRU FAMILIES WAR HEROES RECEIVE KEYS TO THEIR NEW HOUSES
52 more completed and newly-built houses for War Heroes under the guidance of Security Force Commander (Wanni) Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc were formally vested in the recipients on 11 Jan 2016 during a ceremony, headed by Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni).\r\n\r\nThe ceremony at Sampath Nuwara attended by AGA Welioya, Mahaweli project Officers. 52 War Heroes in Sampathnuwara receive complete new houses were the beneficiaries of partly-funded under Phases-IV and V of the ‘Api Wenuwen Api’ Ranaviru Housing project of the Ministry of Defence.\r\n\r\nThose new houses were erected in blocks of land, owned by recipient War Heroes themselves but the total construction work was carried out by Tri service personnel using their labour and technical know-how.\r\n\r\nCoinciding with the event, a monument tomb that is tribute to aggregate brave hearts those who scarified their lives for Mother Sri Lanka, was honourbly opened by the Commander.\r\n\r\nUnder project, 51 War Heroes 45 Army, 4 Navy , 2 Air Force and 1 WPC War Heroes were gifted new houses in ‘Sampathnuwara’ Housing Scheme in Welioya.\r\n\r\n52 recipients on the same occasion received gas cookers, related to the completion of their needy requirement which funded by Singer Sri Lanka . \r\n\r\nFamilies of War Heroes and a gathering of invitees including senior officers were present at the ceremony.
