Commemorating the Hon. President Maithripala Sirisena’s first anniversary in the office, a tree planting campaign had been conducted at the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) premises on 8 January 2016 morning hours.\r\nThe event was held with the participation of the Brigadier Admin and Quartering of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Brigadier J A D P Jayathilaka USP ATO, Brigadier General Staff of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Brigadier G W D K Jayathilaka USP, all the senior staff officers, officers, NCOs and other ranks of the headquarters. During the ceremonial tree planting 30 guava plants were implanted.rn
