Wanni soldiers received two important trophies during the passing out parade of the 53rd SIO course. A six month course which included all basic military disciplines concluded on 24 Jul 15. Out of the 11 officers and 193 soldiers Lieutenant NKGUM Gunerathna of 26 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) received the trophy as the Best All-Rounder and Private Ruwan Kumara of 16 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (16 SLSR) was adjudged the Best Shooter of the Course. We congratulate both for their achievements.
