HANDING OVER OF THREE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED PERMANENT HOUSES IN VEHERATHENNA RESETTLED VILLAGE
Newly constructed three permanent houses were handed over to ownerships of underprivileged family in Veherathenna resettled village on 01 August 2015. This generous effort was implemented by the 62 Division according to the directions and guidance of the Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Commander SFHQ(W). Three houses were constructed by the troops of 26 SLSR, 9 GR and 27 GR under the patronage of Dr Roshan Gunaratne and Mrs Shiromi Gunaratne, Mr D M Prashantha Dissanayake and Mr Govinda Welivita, respectively. The event was concluded with the presence of Mr Senaka de Silva, Managing Director - Lady Hill Hotel, Galle, GOC 62 Div, Comd 622 Bde and Comd 623 Bde. Event coordination was done by the 62 Division, 623 Brigade and 26 SLSR.
