SECOND DAY OF VISITING AFFILIATED BATTALIONS BY COMMANDER SF WANNI
Commander Security Forces Wanni Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc visited 2nd SLAOCC and 3rd SLASC battalions on 3 July 2015. Commanding officers of the respective Battalions warmly welcomed Commander and offered guard turn out. Tree planting ceremonies were held to mark his visits in both Battalions. Commanding Officers briefed about their role. task and deployment in Wanni theatre. rnrnCommander addressed ORs of both units and emphasised the important of discipline, leadership and training to be an efficient and effective unit. While addressing to the officers Security Force Commander stressed that the commitment and dedication of officers are very important as officers to carry out day to day tasks correctly.rnrnCommander also visited warehouses, workshops and other facilities of both battalions. Commander Forward Maintenance Area ( North Central), Colonel Admin and Quartering and Colonel General Staff of Security Force Headquarters Wanni also accompanied the Commander during the visit.
