Under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 54 Division Major General K M U Wijeratne USP ndu, renovated the Other Rank’s cook house with state of the art facilities and named it as රණවිරු කෙම්කෙච‘HEROES OASIS’.\r\n\r\nThe building was ceremonially opened by Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Commander, Security Force (Wanni) at a brief function on 10th June 2015, with the presence of General Officer Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers and Divisional staff of 54 Division. The renovation was done through Division funds and local resources. Some of the photographs of the old cook house and the renovated cook house are shown below.
