62 DIVISIONS SOCCER TEAM WON THE SECURITY FORCE WANNI CHALLENGE TROPHY SOCCER TOURNAMENT - 2015
62 Division beat 54 Division by 2:1 goals and won the Security Force Wanni Challenge Trophy Soccer Tournament held at BHISHOP JOSHEP Foot Ball Ground, Thaalpadu on 10 June 2015.\r\n\r\nMajor General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Commander SF HQ Wanni graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away trophies and certificates to the winning and runner up teams.\r\n\r\nThe tournament was organized by 54 Division along with under command Brigades and Battalions with the guidance of SF HQ Wanni to the intention of promoting affability and competitiveness of the troops in the area. Fathers of mannar regent, Commander ( Navy) north central, GOCs, Bde Comds, Snr Offrs,Snr police Offrs,Officers, Other Ranks and large number of civilians were attended for the event.
