International museum day was commemorated by the 622 brigade with a team of national museum department on 18 and 19 may 2015 at kiriibbanwewa school - welioya. An exhibition was conducted by the national museum department. Historical artifacts brought from the museum were displayed to school children in the area including PULMUDDAI, WELIOYA, JANAKAPURA, PARACKRAMAPURA, JAYANTHIWEWA and SINGHAPURA. The event was held under the direction and supervision of brigadier td weerakoon rwp rsp usp - commander 622 brigade. Deputy director of the national museum mrs. Sanuja kasthuriarachchi was also attended the program.
