56 DIVISION CELEBRATES SINHALA AND HINDU NEW YEAR FESTIVAL WITH COMMUNITY OF BOGASSWEWA.
Under guidance of Brigadier DMWWWMRBM Daulagala RSP General Officer Commanding - 56 Division, and under command Brigades, Battalions had organized a New Year Festival with a large gathering of Army/ Civilians in Bogasswewa Area on 23 April 2015 to celebration of Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival and to strengthen the harmonious connection with the community.\r\n\r\nThe event included many varieties of New Year traditional games and fun making features.\r\n\r\nMajor General K M U Wijerathne USP ndu General Officer Commanding 54 Division graced the event as the Chief Guest On behalf of The Commander Security Force Wanni and presented prizes to the winners of Army/Civilians who were attended the day\'s event.\r\n\r\nGeneral Officer Commanding - 61 Division, Brigade Commanders , Senior Officers and, other Ranks and large number of civilians were attended the event.\r\n
