The Tamils those who lived in Northern Province, used to deposit their jewelries, in Tamil Eelarm banks during the war ear, in Sri Lanka, If they expected the protection for their wealth, they lost all there. But on 4th December 2014, they all were fortunate enough to receive their gold back, His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapaksha at Temple tree palace.
They reached the Temple tree palace with their kids and relatives under the guidance and protection provided by the police and Army. All of these Tamil civilians facilitated with breakfast, lunch and dinner and transports had been provided by using four trains from Jafna, Kilinochchi, Mulathive and Vavuniya.
With the guidance and direction of Commander of the Army, all Commanders of Security Forces, Commanding Officers Soldiers provided their tremendous support for the success of this responsible task.
