Commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the 211 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni, took place on Sunday (9) at their own premises.
A formal Guard turn out plus a guard of honour, presented to the commander, 211 Brigade Brigadier DT Gamage psc, kicked off the day’s proceedings at the 211 bBrigade, situated in the premises of the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni.
A tree planting, all ranks lunch, musicale show a blood donation campaign and a troop address at the occasion brought the day’s programme to an end.
Officers of the under command units Commanding officers and a large number of other ranks attended the occasion.
