CHARITY SERVICES OF 'JAYAGRAHANAYA ORGANIZATION' IN THE AREA OF 622 BRIGADE
Series of social service projects had been conducted by ‘Jayagrahana Organization’ in the area of 622 Brigade on 27 and 28 September 2014 with the coordination and organizing of 622 Brigade. Under this welfare program 63 foot bicycles were handed over among 63 school students in Halambewewa village. Meanwhile two computers worth of Rs. 30000, were handed over to the principal of Jayanthiwewa Vidyalaya by this Oranization .
Simultaneously 06 pregnant mothers and 07 mothers with 6 months old kids and also two families with 7 and 9 members were benefitted with 15 packs of consumable goods, worth of each Rs 2000. 10 selected families with low income in the village, were presented clothes cost of Rs. 30000.
The President of Jayagrahanaya Organization Dr. Anula Wijayasundara with the members of the organization and Commanding Officer of 26 SLSR Lt Col A M S D B Adhikari were among the participants of these charity programs.
