‘Global Shapers Colombo Hub’ institute distributed 115 dry ration packets and bottles of water among the drought hit villagers in Unit 07 and Avaranthulawa villagers on 21 September 2014 at Unit 07 village. The worth of each ration pack was Rs.3000.The distribution campaign was conducted with the coordination of the Commander of 211 Brigade, Brigadier DT Gamage psc and participation of the member of Rehabilitation Commissioner General office.
The Assistant Director of Rehabilitation Centre (Wanni) Poonthittam, Colonel W K Gunasoma, Civil Coordinating Officer of 211 Brigade, Major GLS Ariyawanshe and Mr Ranjith Vijethilaka, Ms. Mahima Botheju and Ms. Theja Daias for the Global Shapers Colombo Hub centre, had participated for this occasion.
