Major General EMM Ambanpola USP, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, made an official visit to Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) on 16 September 2014. As the first step of his tour, he had a discussion in relation to development of resettled villages, with the Commander Security Force (Wanni), Competent Authority of Resettlement of Displaced Personnel in Northern Province Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc.
After the meeting, the ongoing constructional works of the officers’ mess in SF HQ (W) was witnessed by the Major General Ambanpola. Later he visited the resettled villages Veherathenna and Nandimithragama for supervising the constructions there
