INTER DIVISIONAL SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIP 2014 SFHQ (WANNI)
The final of the Inter Divisional Squash Championship 2014 of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) was held ceremonially on 10th September 2014 evening at the Squash court of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni).
Over forty one person squash game was held on the final day and the Brigade Commander of 612 Brigade, Brigadier JC Gamage psc won the mach while Colonel Admin Quarter of 61 Division Colonel JM Aberathna Lsc was the runners up.
This squash tournament was organized and arranged by the 10 Artillery according to the concept of the Commander Security Force (Wanni), Competent Authority of Resettlement of Displaced Personnel in Northern Province Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc to uplift the sports skills of the soldiers under Commanding to Security Force (Wanni). The whole squash series of tournaments had been organized with the guidance and supervision by The Commanding Officer of 10 Artillery Lieutenant Colonel MADS Munasinghe RWP RSP psc IG
The Occasion was graced by the Commander Security Force (Wanni) as the Hon. Chief Guest. The General Officer Commanding of 21 Division Major General PUS Vithanage RSP, Commander Forward Maintains Area (North Central) Brigadier DS Weerasekara USP, General Officer commanders, Brigade Commanders, Senior officers, all the officers and other ranks of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) had participated the event.
