DRY RATION DISTRIBUTING CAMPAIGN IN VEHERATHANNAGAMA BY 26 SLSR TPS
Dry ration distribution program had been organized by 26 Sri Lanka Sinhe Regiment at Veherathenna village under Vavuniya South Divisional Secretariat on 06 September 2014. 250 ration packs were distributed among 250 families by ‘SATH SITH’ Social Community in this occasion. Chief Incumbent Jinawansa Thero, Reverent Hapauwalane Ghanaseela Thero, Reverent Dikpitiye Senananda Thero, General Officer Commanding of 62 Division Brigadier KGD Perera RWP, RSP, USP, IG and Commander 541 Brigade, Colonel R P D U Rajapaksha RWP, RSP and Commanding Officer 26 Sri Lanka Sinhe Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel A M S D B Adhikari participated for the ceremony.
Each ration pack was consisted with 14 items such as, Rice, Dhal, Potatoes, Salt, Soya meat, Tea powder, Sugar, Coconut, Manioc, Flour, Garlic, chili Powder, Spice Powder and Turmeric Powder.
