TROOPS FROM 62 DIVISIONS ORGANIZED AN ALMS-GIVING TO THE FIFTY BHIKKUES
Troops from 62 Divisions organized an alms-giving to the fifty Bhikkues on 26 July 2014 at
622 Brigade Headquarters premises. In parallel with the event, there were 75 pregnant mothers and
500 villagers who were also provided with the delicious meal by 622 Brigade troops. Mr Ranjith
Rathnayaka & Mrs. Seetha Nishshanka from Sandalankawa contributed the financial assistance for
the event on the request of commander 622 Brigade. Commander 621 Brigade, Colonel I H M N N
Herath USP psc and Brigade Major of 622 Brigade were ensured the smooth function of the event
and many officers of the Area of Responsibility were also being present.
