62 DIVISION CELEBRATED NEW YEAR WITH BENEFICIARIES
62 Division troops had organized a get together with the blessings and guidance of Major General Boniface Perera, the Commander Security Force (Wanni), to celebrate New Year with all the beneficiaries (rehabilitated ex-combatants) with their family members in 62 Division area at the Sampathnuwara School on 20 April 2014.
Colourful ceremony had been organized to mark the Sinhala and Tamil New Year and troops had arranged to give away New Year gifts and lunch for beneficiaries. During the ceremony, Commander 62 Division, Brigadier Davinda Perera discussed current issues, related to the beneficiaries and suitable solutions for their problems.
