With the Immense Contribution of own funds (5.1 million) by professor DT Gamage who works in new castle University in Australia, for constructions of 10 No’s Of houses in Bogaswewa Village and 07 No’s of houses in Veherathanna Village, that have been Constructed by the Army, were declared open by Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Competent Authority for resettling Internal Displaced Personnel in Northern Province Major General M H S B Perera RWP RSP ndu psc along with the Professor D T Gamage and his family members on 14 February 2014. Professor D T Gamage was very delighted on the neatly arrangement and construction of houses and also the transparency of works done by the Army. He thanked all of the Army personnel who involved in the constructions. It was also seen that all the beneficiaries of those houses paid their heartfelt gratitude to Professor DT Gamage and his family.
The Programme was successfully directed by the Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Maj Gen MHSB Perera RWP RSP ndu psc and under the arrangement of General officer Commander of 56 Division Brigadier DAR Ranawaka RSP IG and General Officer Commanding 62 Division Brigadier KPD Perera RWP RSP IG.
All Brigade Commanders, Commanding officers under 56 and 62 Division and more number of villagers were also participated for this programme.
