Headquarter 54 Division along with the officials from Prime Minister’s office conducted an "Attitude Development Progremme" for school children’ of Mannar/Nawakkulam Roman Catholic Tamil School, Mannar/Mernikannadi Roman Catholic Tamil School, Mannar/Papamoddi Roman Catholic Tamil School at Mannar/Gauri Ambal Government Tamil Mixed School from 0800 hrs to 1330 hrs On 26 October 2013. 100 No’s of officials from prime minister’s Office, 250 No’s of teachers and students participated for the event and was seems to be very successful. Under the direction and close supervision of General Officer Commanding 54 Division Brigadier MAM Dias RWP RSP USP psc,along with the Headquarter 54 Division, 541 Brigade, 25 Gamunu Watch and 24 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment assisted in arranging all administrative aspects for the above progremme.
