A blood donation program was organized by 211 Bde with the coordination of General Hospital Vavunia, on 04th May 2013 at the Field Hospital Vavunia . 75 military persons including 211 Bde Comd Col STB Dissanayake RSP USP, CAO of 211 Bde Lt Col TMGB Tennakoon, BM, 211 Bde Maj WGAK Gamage and Some Staffs of the Vavunia General Hospital participated for the said event. 75 pints of blood were been collected from the donors.
