62 DIVISION TROOPS COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW WATER TANK IN GALKULAMA
\r\nTroops serving under the Security Force Headquarters – at Galkulama completed the construction of new water tank at 62 Division headquarters. premises and handed over it to the public on 12 August 2016 .\r\n\r\nThe water tank was ceremonially opened by Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc the Commander, SF(Wanni) and named as “JAYA SEBALA WEWA”. The tank Project was supervised and constructed by Brigadier AA Kodippily RSP the General officer Commanding of 62 Division together with the project Directors. Brigadier AA Kodippily RSP, Brigadier Commanders, Commanding Officers, Officers, Other ranks, civil officials, several invitees and villagers had participated for the event.\r\n\r\nThe capacity of the tank is 278 acre ft and the length of the main dam is 480 meters. Irrigable area is 66 acres and 85 families are benefitted by the tank. \r\n
