A “Tribute to Parents” musical show named “VIRU GEE NADA - 2023 was organized by Psychological Operations Cell of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) on 15 October 2023 under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu at the Auditorium of the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni). Aim of this musical show was to heal the monotonous mind of the soldiers on duty at the Security Forces (Wanni) area.
The beat group of Sri Lanka Army Rifle Corps, provided the music at this event and the arrangements was to celebrate the parent's tribute songs in a very beautiful manner by singing meaningful songs about a new born baby, crossing various milestones in life's journey and the love of parents.
The Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Major General Dinesh Nanayakkara participated in this event as the chief guest and the Brigadier General Staff Brigadier Janaka Pallekubura, Brigadier Project Brigadier Thushan Ganepola, Brigadier Admin and Quartering Colonel Ajith Hettige and all Officers/Soldiers of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) witnessed this event.
