According to the direction of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Maj Gen Rohitha Darmasiri ndu psc, troops of 54 Division under the supervision of GOC 54 Div Maj Gen Subashana Weilkala WWV RWP RSP USP, 542 Bde troops organized a tree planting programme in collaboration with Devi Balika College, Colombo on 14 Feb 2020.
The tree planting programme was held at Srinath Nagar tree planting site under the theem of “THURULIYA WENUWEN API” and 44 students, 02 teachers and 01 parent were participated for the event and they heve planted several 55 plants.
Seiner Officers, other ranks 542 Bde and 8 VIR were participated for the occasion.
