The Colombo Branch of Old Girls Association of Kandy High School joined hand with 54 Division to continue the re planting of Wilpattu adjacent Forest areas on 13 October 2019.
Group members of the association made their presence for the Programme launched at Sinathnagar tree planting site.
The Colombo Branch of Old Girls Association of Kandy High School assisted this Programme by donating Rs 520000.00 and 2000 L water tank. A half an acre of land area was prepared by facilitating with dripping water system and covering by a fence in order to launch the re planting programme.
On behalf of the General Officer Commanding 54 Division Colonel General Staff - 54 Division Colonel RP Munipura RWP RSP participated in the event.
Several Senior Officers, Officers and number of Other Ranks from the Headquarters 54 Division and 542 Brigade participated in the programme.
