Troops of 621 Brigade in collaboration with ‘SenehaseApi’, a philanthropic organization of Jayabahua Terminals – Sri Lanka Port Authority successfully organized a donation campaign on 04 January 2019 to distribute Laboratory Cupboards, Musical Instrument, Library Books, 135 packs comprised of essential school items, and many other needy stuffs for students in M/Paranagamwewa School located at far off area in Welioya administrative division.
The donation programme was organized under the supervision of General Officer Commanding 62 Division Brigadier Dhammika Jayasinghe with the generous sponsorship of ‘Senehase Api’ organization of Jayabahu Terminals – Sri Lanka Port Authority.
Over 135 underprivileged students were benefited through this charitable programme conducted on a request made by the Commander 621 Brigade Colonel Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc. The General Officer Commanding 62 Division Brigadier Dhammika Jayasinghe made his presence as the chief guest while Commander 621 Brigade together with philanthropists of ‘SenehaseApi’ organization were present as distinguished guests for this charitable event.
Senior Officers of 62 Division along with 621 Brigade and its under command battalions too were present at the occasion.
