WORKSHOP TO IMPROVE THE PROFESSIONALISM OF YOUNG-OFFICERS

Captains and Lieutenants of the Security Force (Wanni) attended a three-day workshop designed to cover some critical time-sensitive requirements that will aid them and their battalions in their efforts to attend routine duties and address professionalism from December 8–10, 2022, at the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) under the guidance of Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP Commander Security Force.

The attendees had the opportunity to refresh their knowledge and get updated on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and its military applications, Mess Accounts, Military Correspondence, General Law, Rules of Engagement (ROE), Discipline and Offenses Related to Moral Turpitude, and the rules of some indoor and outdoor games from national players in the Sri Lanka Army sports pools.

The workshop concluded with a diners club lecture by the General Officer Commanding the 56 Infantry Division for those officers. The workshop was attended by 61 officers.
